Ithaca DSA Presents: Taxes!?! DSA at the US Social Forum

Ithaca Democratic Socialists of America Presents #312:

"Taxes!?!" Alan Essig talks about the regressive state tax system in
Georgia - which is a lot like most other states - the politics around
changing it are complex. Adrián Boutureira argues for estate taxes -
people don't seem to realize that only estates of two million and up
get taxed. Others say it's important to make clear that taxes fund
police and fire departments and could be used to lower tuition.
